For me as a musician the kennel prefix KEYNOTE was the natural choice. As you can see from the logo, the trombone is my instrument. "Keynote" was approved by the Norw. KC in 1987 when I had my first litter of Bullterrieres. The photo t.r shows Int.ch Panzarkraft's Tjocke Bertha "Bertha" the day she became champion - 15 months old - Earliest age to become a champion in Norway. Me and "Bertha" traveled around both in Norway and abroad, and she became Internatioal champion. "Bertha" had two litters, with Int.ch NorwW88 Jack Sayce of Hollyfir and Int.ch Quincy Imperator.

I was born and raist among dogs and cats. The last dog at home was a dobermann-pincsher. By my self and together with Jan Valter ( also musician) a various of breeds has been in our home. Cairn Terriers, Wire and smooth German Vorsterhound, Dobermann-pincsher and now Bullterriers and Schnauzers.

I have also had the first Norw.bred and owned hunting-dog that became Norw. Obidience-champion.  "Ami" was a smoothhaired Vorsterhound. The photo to left shows her at age 14 - at my sister Turi (Kennel Casso) in Denmark. Friends of Turi was impressed by how easy she was just a few days after coming to Denmark. She did various of obidience and everyone thought that Turi made this in just a day or two...

I have also done obidience class 1 with "Bertha" and I have done class 1 with the bull-terrier "Harry" without any disqualification...

Today I have my dogs for the fun of it. And are out in forest's several times a day, in all sorts of weather.

On the photo above you can see "Bertha the bull", "Lento the Dobermann" and "Steffi the Rottweiler" - last one owned by Elin Dahl ( Gullsteinen kennel) out a winterday nearby our home.

As a breeder I have bred severeal champions in Dobermann, Bullterriers and Schnauzers. And we have sold dogs too other breeders in all the Nordic contries.

On the photo under, you can see 3 terrier-breeders from Bergen.  From left Erna Haga (smooth foxterrier) my self and Randi Gote ( Scottish Terrier)On a show in Norrköping, Sweden in 1990. They had traveled 900 kilometers to show for Hans V.D Berg.

We only breed on healthy and typical dogs with excellent temprements. Those dog we choose to use in our breeding are all showed with excellent results. As a breeder we want to breed dogs that are sound and healthy ones that is a pleasure for the owners for years ahead.

Picture to right show a bitch from my first litter with "Bertha" - Keynote NewYears Surprise - Her name is"Petrine" and she loved everything and everyone.

I co-operate with my twin-sister Turi in Denmark ( Kennel Casso) so schnauzers are often seen as travelers between Bergen, Norway and Copenhagen, Denmark. Kennel Casso has among other spendid results also bred 3 dogs that is approved rescue-dogs for the danish Civil Defense
